ROTO-LITE 1999, SUMMARY

Although Jessie's Angels was in 5th place on the 4th of
July, they hung out within a small neighborhood of the
money for most of the 2nd half of the year.  Baseball
Est Bonum (Bueno), with it's multitude of unique players,
gave them a great race, actually owning first place for
the first 2 weeks of September.  Even after getting first
back things weren't finally secure until there were too
few days left to trash talk, sparing all who know her of
what could have turned into an ugly unpleasantry.

BRADY ANDERSON AWARDS
---------------------

DUDE
First the notable mentions:
+ Preston Wilson FLA. 26 HRs for the rookie.
Maybe he would have gotten more votes from
the Boston crowd if he wasn't Mookies brood.
+ Chipper Jones Atlanta. Although he had an
incredible year, only Bueno(#3) and WLC(#15)
had him indicating he wasn't a real big impact
  in Roto-Lite.
+ Greg Vaughn gets notable mention for realizing
that a triple really is as good as a K.
+ Palmeiro would be a strong candidate if anyone had him.

The Winner:
Jay Bell. Almost 40 HRs from 2nd base and the 3 teams
that had him are in the top 5.

DUD
Notable mentions:
- Barry Larkin. A strong 2nd place. Just how damaging
his 31 HRs behind Greg Vaughn was can be seen in that,
4 of the 6 Roto-Lite teams that had him finished
  #s 13, 14, 16 and 17. Ouch.
- Pat Meares was disqulified due to injury.
- Mo Vaughn. Hearty finish deprives Bostonians the
  opportunity to vote for him.

The Whiner:
Frank "The big Hurting" Thomas. Maybe next year he'll decide
  he can't play DH either.
